At
Camp Conifer
Your Activites Are Only Limited by Imagination
Conifer Camp offers facilities for year ‘round retreats, reunions, meetings and workshops as well as environmental and outdoor education, class and youth outings, team building, both winter and summer sports and more. Whether your group comes to Camp Conifer for work or fun, there's an awful lot of things to do while you're here. Of course, the natural surroundings and peaceful atmosphere mean it's fun to just sit in the shade or read a good book, but if you're looking for more structured entertainment, we have that as well. |
Activity Choices and Facilities SUMMER In summer, deep blue skies, fresh air, our own spring water and tall green forests all contribute to making the Camp Conifer camping experience perfect from imagination to a lasting memory. Explore the meadows, streams and forests on the miles of hiking trails that lead from the camp, including the trailhead to Keller Peak Mountain: which towers 8,000 feet above the Valley floor below. Hike to Indian Perch where breath taking views can be captured on film to share with friends and family at home. Or take the short 10 minute drive to Green Valley Lake, where kayaks and canoes are available for your use and a private, sandy swimming beach for the use of group also. Our kitchen staff will be glad to pack a lunch for you to enjoy at the beautiful and private picnic area next to the lake. Challenge your group on our team-building low ropes course and test your skill at volleyball on our sand court, baseball, soccer or football on the large grassy field, just a block from the camp, or sing out under the stars around one of our two huge fire circles. |

Fall brings a coat of many colors to Camp Conifer’s forests as the oak trees -- scattered among the pine -- begin to drop their leaves. Enjoy the colorful foliage and the crisp and clean mountain air while hiking or engaging in any of the variety of outdoor activities that Camp Conifer has to offer. |
| WINTER In winter take advantage of the snow. Enjoy tobogganing, sledding and even snow board, right on our property. Then warm up properly in the evening with great meals and evenings of warm fellowship in front of one of our cozy fireplace. With Snow Valley Ski Resort, only 4 miles away, and Leroy’s ski shop at the bottom of our driveway, your group can enjoy great downhill skiing without the inconvenience of driving in traffic or having to wait in long lines for equipment. Every building in the camp is winterized and heated and provide cozy places to recharge after exhilarating days enjoying our own winter wonderland. |
